How to arrive:
It will take about 3 hours to drive from Toronto. From east Toronto, take highway 404 north to Davis Drive. Take Davis Drive exit and turn right on Davis Drive to highway 48. Turn left on highway 48 then left on highway 7/12, then right again on highway 48, through Kirkfield. Turn left on highway 35 through Norland, Moore Falls, Miners Bay and Minden. Just past Minden, (right after Kawartha Dairy) turn right on county road 21 to Haliburton Village. Go through the main street of Haliburton (Highland Street) and turn left at the lights onto hwy 118. Turn right on Harburn Road (#19) for about 12 kilometres then turn right onto Carroll Road. Go a couple of kilometres, and turn right into the Thurston Wildlife and Forest Reserve. From west Toronto, take Highway 400 to Highway 11. Take highway 11 north to highway 118. Go east on highway 118, past Carnarvon to Harburn Road. Turn left on Harburn Road about 2 kilometres before the town of Haliburton. Go along Harburn Road for about 11 kilometres to Carroll Road. Turn right on Carroll road and go along about 2 kilometres, and you will see the sign for the Thurston Wildlife and Forest Reserve. You have arrived.

Beautiful Haliburton Highlands
Cabins at the Domain is located in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands, just a 15 minute drive into the town of Haliburton where you will find a selection of restaurants, galleries, small shops, grocery stores and more. The Haliburton Forest and the Wolf Centre is only a 20 minute drive away. It is about an hour's drive to Algonquin Park. There are a number of artisans in the area, perfect for a day of exploring.
